Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman has been a gymnast in the United States for more than ten years. She was part of, and captain, of both the US Olympic women's gymnastics team Final Five (2012) and Final Five (2016). Aly Raisman was awarded three gold medals at the 2012 Olympics, in London. In addition, she took home a bronze medal on the balance beam. In the end, she was the very first American at the Olympics with the top amount of medals. At the 2016, Olympics she won gold in the team event which earned her along with teammate Gabby Douglas the honor of having being one of the very first Americans to have two consecutive gold medals for the team. Also, silver medals were awarded at the all-around event and floor exercise. She took a three-year break between the two Olympics from gymnastics competition. Also, she was a member of the gold-winning American teams in the two World Championships. Gymnastics was her first sport of choice in the age of 2 and her favorite event is floor exercises. Aly donates towards the Uniting Against Lung Cancer charity in memory of her deceased grandmother. She plans to pursue a career in fashion and hopes to broaden her line of signature leotards as well as socks in the future. Fierce - a novel she's writing, will be out this year.
